Photo Cleaner

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Photo Cleaner: Swipe to Tidy (“Photo Cleaner”, “the app”) handles information when you use the application. Photo Cleaner is developed by Ivan Kreshikhin, operating under the personal IKresh brand, based in Batumi, Georgia (“IKresh”, “we”, “us”).

Photo Cleaner does not require an account. You can use the app without creating an IKresh login or providing a name, password or profile.

Contact: support@ikresh.com.

Summary

  • Photos and videos are processed locally on your iPhone.
  • Full Photo Library Access is required for the app’s core cleanup features.
  • Photo-library contents are not uploaded to IKresh or Firebase.
  • No advertising and no IDFA-based advertising.
  • No sale of personal information and no cross-app tracking.
  • Firebase Analytics is used for product analytics.
  • Firebase Crashlytics is used for crash reports and technical diagnostics.
  • Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.

Photo library access and on-device processing

Photo Cleaner requires Full Photo Library Access so it can scan, display, compare, organise and remove items across your complete photo library. Full access is necessary for core features such as duplicate detection, similar-photo detection and complete cleanup sessions.

Limited Photo Library Access is not sufficient for these features because iOS makes only the photos and videos selected by the user visible to the app. With Limited Access, Photo Cleaner cannot analyse the complete library or provide complete and accurate duplicate, similarity and cleanup results. If Limited Access is selected, the app asks you to enable Full Access in iOS Settings before continuing.

Photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, album names, EXIF contents, PhotoKit identifiers and image-analysis results are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to IKresh, Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

Information stored on your device

To provide the product experience, Photo Cleaner may store local data on your iPhone. This may include:

  • PhotoKit identifiers for items the app works with;
  • dates, media type and file size;
  • album membership information;
  • swipe decisions and review state;
  • cleanup sessions and progress;
  • app settings and preferences.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to share something separately, for example by sending a support email.

Product analytics and crash diagnostics

Photo Cleaner uses Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage, evaluate application performance and improve the product. Analytics information may include:

  • app version;
  • iOS version;
  • device category;
  • language;
  • broad region;
  • an anonymous app-instance identifier;
  • screen views;
  • feature interactions;
  • purchase-flow and subscription-status events that do not contain payment details.

Photo Cleaner also uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect, investigate and resolve crashes and technical failures. Crashlytics information may include:

  • crash reports and stack traces;
  • app version and build number;
  • iOS version;
  • device model or category;
  • technical application state at the time of a failure;
  • anonymous installation or diagnostic identifiers;
  • recent technical or in-app events used as diagnostic breadcrumbs.

Photo Cleaner does not send photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, album names, EXIF contents, PhotoKit asset identifiers, image-analysis results, precise location, email addresses or user-entered text to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

Website analytics

The IKresh website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits, referral sources, device categories, countries and website performance. This website analytics is separate from Firebase Analytics used inside the Photo Cleaner application.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and does not create cross-site visitor profiles. IKresh uses the resulting aggregate information only to understand website usage and improve website performance.

Cloudflare processes website network requests as the hosting, security and analytics infrastructure provider. IKresh does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics to identify individual visitors or connect website visits with Photo Cleaner users, App Store downloads, purchases or Firebase users.

Advertising, sale of data and tracking

Photo Cleaner does not display third-party advertising and does not use IDFA-based advertising. IKresh does not sell personal information and does not engage in cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase Premium features or a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. IKresh does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account credentials.

Apple may share limited transaction information with developers as needed to provide the purchased product, such as purchase status or subscription entitlement information. Apple’s handling of payment data is governed by Apple’s own policies.

Support communications

If you contact support@ikresh.com, we process the content of your message, your email address and any information you choose to include only to respond to support or privacy requests. Please do not send personal photos unless they are necessary to investigate an issue.

Data retention

Local app data remains on your iPhone until you delete the app, clear relevant local data through the app’s available controls, or otherwise remove it using iOS features.

Support emails are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and related follow-up, unless a longer period is required for legal or security reasons.

Product analytics and crash-diagnostic information are retained according to the configured Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics retention settings and Google’s applicable product terms.

Service providers

IKresh uses Google Firebase Analytics for product analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and technical diagnostics inside the iOS application. Cloudflare provides website hosting, security infrastructure and aggregate website analytics for the IKresh website. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies and only as needed to provide the relevant services. IKresh uses these providers only where their applicable contractual terms and privacy commitments require them to protect user information to the same or an equivalent standard as described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law.

Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics are separate services. Firebase Analytics measures usage inside the Photo Cleaner iOS application. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports and technical diagnostics. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate website visits and performance. IKresh does not use these services to link website visitors with individual Photo Cleaner users, App Store activity or advertising profiles.

International transfers

IKresh is based in Batumi, Georgia. Service providers such as Google and Apple may process information in countries other than where you live. Where applicable, those providers rely on contractual and organisational safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

Because Photo Cleaner does not require an account and processes photo-library contents on device, many app-related records exist only locally on your iPhone. For support emails or other information held by IKresh, contact support@ikresh.com.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or the United Kingdom, applicable law may provide additional rights, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability where relevant. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent for future processing where consent applies. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to that processing subject to applicable law.

California residents

Photo Cleaner does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. California residents may have rights to know, delete or correct certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

To make a privacy request, email support@ikresh.com and describe the request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request.

Children

Photo Cleaner is not directed to children under 13, or under the age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support communications, contact support@ikresh.com.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process. Photo-library contents stay on your device. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when updates are published. Continued use of Photo Cleaner after an update means you have reviewed the revised policy.
